A:  The typical coaching relationship for individuals and/or organizations first involves the use of surveys and assessments during the discovery process.  Next, an introductory workshop for an individual or team is held.  Hour long coaching sessions usually occur on a weekly basis.  Between sessions periodic emails may be sent to develop agendas, communicate results, and discuss front-burners issues.  Lastly, laser coaching support (5-10 minutes) is provided between sessions to maintain momentum.

What are the characteristics of the people who are most likely to be successful in a coaching relationship?

A:  Clients that believe they are capable of having a life and career that they truly desire, that have a clear view of where they are and where they want to go in life, and are willing to take the lead on issues that are important to them are the most successful when engaging the coaching process.
